This years traditional shoot will be held December 1, 2007. Registration will start at 9:00 AM, shoot at 10:15 AM. This year the Club will be providing a milk can dinner that will start around 4:00 PM. Dust off that old stick and string and join us for some fun.

The Club will be holding a swap meet following this years traditional shoot. The Club will set up tables for folks to buy, sell, or trade any type of sporting goods. Old bows, sights, arrows, releases, and blinds to mention a few. One mans junk is always my treasure!!!

Leagues are up and running. Tuesday’s will be 3D targets with the cost of $5.00 for adults, and kids are still free. Sunday’s will be spot leagues (vegas) with cost for adults being $3.00 for adults, kids are free.

Starting January 8th 2008, Tuesday leagues will be offering a payback. The Club is not involved in this program and participation in the payback is optional. Tentative rules will be as follows: each archer wanting to participate will pay $20.00 at the beginning of a the 4-week period (in addition to the $5.00 weekly Club fee). Payback will be 100 percent and based on the shooters top 3 scores out of the 4 week period. Anyone not wanting to shoot for payback can continue to pay the normal $5.00 fee and shoot for fun!

John Wilson will be holding a level 1 and 2 instructor school. Dates will be December 14th, 15th, 16th. Classes will be held at the club. Focus of the class is learning and teaching fundamentals of archery. This class will benefit the beginner as well as the more seasoned archers. It's time to start thinking about renewing our memberships for 2008. Don’t forget, a CFA membership makes a great stocking stuffer. Membership applications are included in the newsletter, or you can go to the CFA web site and down load a application.
