The regularly scheduled May meeting was held on the 1st. All Officers and Board members were present except Adam Lewis. Also attending were several club members and guests.

Treasurer's Report: A copy is posted on the bulletin board.

The Access Yes Benefit shoot held April 25 & 27, generated $1,150.00 to the Game and Fish Access Yes Program. The Club was featured in the Cheyenne paper on the 3rd of May showing our support for this great program that benefits all hunters. We are in hopes that other clubs will follow our lead.

Thanks to all the participants and workers who help put the Access Yes shoot together. In appreciation for making this shoot such a success, the Club is hosting a Brats and Beans Supper (with a few bull-fries thrown in) on Tuesday May 23rd starting at 5:00 pm.

Thanks to Chandler Carroll for fixing the hot water heater in the restrooms.

There will be a new look for the belt buckles at The Bow Hunter Weekend. The new buckles will feature the CFA shoot logo. This is the elk head with the broadhead highlighted in the center.

If you would like to donate a target (or know of a business that you would) to the Bow Hunter Weekend, there are donor sheets at the club.

The Carp Shwacking Jamboree will be held May 20th. Sign up is at the Grey Rocks boat ramp at 6:00 am. Check in time for the days catch will be 4:00 pm. Details will be posted at the club.

Jakes day will be held May 20th at the Cheyenne Trap Club from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Local archers are hosting a 3-D Pop-up shoot on June 16th and 17th at the Archer Research Station. For more information contact Rick Holmes. A flyer will be posted at the club.

Don’t forget about leagues. Thursday and Sunday night leagues will be stopping until after hunting season. Tuesday night will continue to run, so come and enjoy the fun.

Work parties: 5:00 pm, May 10th at Curt Gowdy State Park to repair the archery range. June 7th - set sidewalk forms, June 14th - pour the concrete.

Photos of any archery event, archery hunting or club functions are needed. Please email the photos to the webmaster found at www.cheyennefieldarchers.com.
