The monthly Club meeting was held on the 5th of March. All Officers and Board members were present except Rick Ginter.

Treasurers Report: A report is posted at the club.

Triple Crown 2nd Leg had 133 shooters. The next Triple Crown will be March 23rd & 24th.

Bowhunter Weekend
The Club has started its target drive for this years shoot. If anyone knows of a business that would like to sponsor a target this year, please get with one of the officers, or board members for details. Jerry Dickson will be getting a sign up list for folks that would like to help out. There was some discussion over the number of belt buckles to order and for what classes. The issue was tabled to get more input.

The Bunny shoot drew 33 people to hunt rabbits for the day. There was around 87 rabbits harvested with archery equipment. Congratulations to the Van Hattens and Christies for winning with 24.3 points. Thanks to Stephanie Perkins for cooking the chili, and to the Cross family for the cake.

There was discussion about trying to host the 2008 Bowhunters of Wyoming winter meeting. The board would be in favor of this, stating it would give CFA members a chance to attend without traveling to other parts of the state.

The Access Yes shoot dates is April 24th & 26th. Last year the club raised $1150.00 that helped ALL sportsmen gain more access in the field. We are looking for a few raffle prizes if anyone has any ideas. The Club will be raffling off a Lifetime membership to Bowhunters of Wyoming. A one year membership to BOW has also been donated by Area BOW representative, Joel Meena. Tickets will be $10.00 each or 3 tickets for $20.00. Please come out and help us beat last years record.

Mike Hoover requested the club make a bid for a state indoor shoot. The board was in favor of the request. Mike stated that Gillette has first shot at hosting, but if there is no interest, CFA would put it's name in the hat.

Tuesday and Thursday 3D leagues, and Sunday target leagues are all running. Take some time to attend and catch the fun.

Photos of any archery event, archery hunting or club functions are needed. Please email the photos to the webmaster found at www.cheyennefieldarchers.com.
