Have Bow, Will Go

The regularly scheduled December meeting was held on the 4th. All Officers and Board members were present except except David Hays, Steve Arnold, and Rick Ginter.

Treasurer's Report: A copy is posted on the bulletin board.

The December newsletter will contain a renewal application for 2007. The card lock will be changed in February, after new cards have been sent to renewing members.

If you have left any of your property at the club, please pick it up. Items not claimed will be given away.

Annual Banquet will be held at the club on January 6th at 6:00 pm. A cream can dinner will be provided by the club. We ask that members with last names beginning with A-M to bring a salad/covered dish and those beginning with N-Z to bring desserts. We hope to see all of you there. This is your opportunity to speak out and to elect the members that will represent you on the board for 2007. There is a nomination sheet posted at the club, sign up the person(s) who you believe will represent you the best for 2007.

Old 3-D Targets will be sold at the Annual Banquet. Also up for sale are the old roll around targets. Anyone interested in a roll around target will have their name put in a hat and the name drawn will receive the target. Each roll around will sell for $60.00. Must be present to win.

A Swap meet will be held at the club prior to the Annual Banquet (1:00 p.m. to 4:pm). If you have something to buy, sell or trade bring it on in.

There is a sign up sheet posted at the club for the Big Game Awards. If you have shot Big Game with your bow this year, please write down your name and the animal(s) taken so that you can be recognized at the Annual Banquet for a successful hunting season.

Each year at the Annual Banquet the club recognizes an individual that has been outstanding in the archery club. This is your opportunity to nominate that individual. Please submit you nomination and the reason you think the individual is an outstanding archer to the board before the Annual Banquet. The person nominated cannot be on the board at the time of the nomination.

Bowhunters Of Wyoming Winter Banquet & Meeting will be held March 16, 17 & 18, 2007 at the Holiday Inn in Thermopolis, WY. The guest speaker for this event will be Fred Eichler. This would be a great opportunity to join an organization that is looking out for archery hunters.

2007 Triple Crown: First leg of the 2007 Triple Crown will be held Friday night, January 26th and Saturday the 27th. The second leg of the Triple Crown will be held Friday night, February 23rd and Saturday the 24th. Third leg of the Triple Crown will be held Friday night, March 23rd and Saturday the 24th.

The Access Yes shoot will be held April 24th and 26th. These are regular Tuesday and Thursday Night Leagues. All proceeds that are collected will go to the Wyoming Game and Fish “Access Yes” program. The Access Yes Program allows hunters access to private lands.

The CFA Rabbit Shoot will be held February 17th.

Tuesday and Thursday 3D leagues, and Sunday target leagues are all running. Take some time to attend and catch the fun.
